Sports lovers are treated to a terrific exhibition of powerful punches and blocks yesterday in the UFC Lightweight championship. The match branded as the Fight of the Century got to a roaring start with Floyd Mayweather. Conor McGregor leaving no stone to outsmart each other.
Entire T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada was jam packed as both Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor hurled powerful punches against each other. Even referee Robert Byrd had an awful night officiating the match as tempers ran high in the high heated fight.
Finally, Mayweather won the bout in the 10th round outsmarting Conor McGregor. Mayweather thus created a record with 50 victories and not a single loss. Mayweather landed powerful punches in the 10th round forcing the referee to intervene and stop the bout.
Judges declared the result in favor of Mayweather at the time of the stoppage. Mayweather led 87-83, 89-81 and 89-82. Mayweather earlier defeated two boxers Oscar De La Hoya and Arturo Gatti to be in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
